St Charles learners shine in Cambridge exams

St Charles College‘s matric class, once again, produced a memorable list of achievements, highlighted by some exceptional results. Right at the top of the list was Thomas Brown.

He recorded nine distinctions, including scoring 98 percent for Chemistry, 97 percent for Mathematics, and 96 percent for Physics in his A Level exams. He further received AS Level distinctions for Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Afrikaans, Biology, and English.

Sanjay Tallapaneni received A Level scores of 93 percent for Chemistry, 92 percent for Mathematics, and 92 percent for Physics. He added an A Level distinction in Biology and AS Level distinctions in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Afrikaans, and Biology.

A third learner, Cameron Beesley, also achieved nine distinctions. Four of them were for A Levels, including 91 percent for Chemistry, 93 percent for Mathematics, and 93 percent for Physics. He also achieved an A in Further Mathematics. Beesley added AS Level distinctions in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Afrikaans, and Further Mathematics.

Joel Reynard shone, too, with eight distinctions, including scoring 93 percent for Chemistry, 90 percent for Mathematics, and 94 percent for Physics in the A Level exams. He added AS Level distinctions in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, English, and Further Mathematics.

Christoper Anderssen, Head Boy Nicholas Oldfield, and Owami Sibeko achieved six distinctions, with each of the trio recording A Level disctinctions for Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, and AS Level distinctions for the same three subjects.

Sebastien Le Roux, Cameron Paul-English, Nathan Raubenheimer, and Timothy Schoeman were awarded five distinctions each. Schoeman’s results included 92 percent in the A Level exam for Literature in English.
