FOOTBALL
Michaelhouse and Kearsney College met in a massive football derby involving almost 30 teams on Saturday in Balgowan.
The 1st teams were in action at the Primo Big 10 at Hilton College. Follow the link for a report on the competition.
In the open age group, Michaelhouse won three matches, Kearsney won six, and one was drawn.
‘House won the U16A, B, and C matches, while Kearsney bagged the D to G wins.
At U15 level, Michaelhouse won two games, Kearsney won three, and one ended in a draw.
The U14 age group went Michaelhouse’s way by four matches to two.
Overall, the record was 12 wins to Michaelhouse, 15 wins to Kearsney, and two draws.

GOLF
At the Victoria Country Club, Kearsney’s Asher Hollister finished second in the individual competition at the KZN Schools Golf Championship, and Kearsney placed second overall.
He also finished top of the rankings at the KZN Trials, played at the Kloof Country Club, but will miss the SA Schools competition in Mpumalanga as he will be in action for the Kearsney 1st XI at the Oppenheimer Michaelmas Cricket Week.
Timothy Moroney and Jesse Ruscoe will, however, represent Kearsney and the KZN u18A golf team in Mpumalanga
WATER POLO
While Timothy Moroney and Jesse Ruscoe were awarded their provincial colours in golf, Cristiano Sandri received his SA junior national colours for water polo. He was also appointed vice captain of the SA U16 Water Polo Team.
INDOOR HOCKEY
