Clifton College had an opportunity for a breather on the weekend, with the school not in football derby action. The 1st team was in action in the Primo Big 10, though.

During the week, the Clifton 1st XI, 2nd XI, and 3rd XI took on Thomas More College, with the 1st XI winning a tight contest, the 2nd XI drawing, and the 3rd XI romping to victory

On the weekend, the U14A side went down to a narrow 0-1 defeat to New Forest.
Meanwhile, in a meeting of two of KZN’s best, the Clifton 1st water polo team beat Kearsney College 12-9.
Clifton College was also very busy as the KZN Coastal Indoor Hockey leagues took to the court, with matches being played from Monday to Thursday, during the week. The Clifton 1st team made a strong start to their campaign, notching two emphatic victories.
They’re a team to watch this season, featuring three players – Ryde Brisset, Georg Wolhuter, and Tye Milne – who helped KZN Coastal win the SASHOC Indoor Inter-Provincial Tournament in December 2025. Brisset and Wolhuter were named in the SA Schools u18A side, while Milne was included in the u18B team.
