Competition between Maritzburg College and Westville Boys’ High was tight on the football field on Saturday, with Westville winning 12 matches, College winning seven, and three ending in draws.
The Westville 1st team’s strong run in the third term continued with a tight 1-0 win, while the U16A honours were shared. Westville won the U15A and U14A games comfortably, while the most entertaining match of the day, between the U14B teams, were Westville’s way by a 5-3 margin.

RUGBY SEVENS
While Westville’s top teams made a statement at the Pionier Sevens, Westville continued its winning ways at the Ashton Sevens, with both its U18 and U15 teams winning, lifting the school’s tally to four titles in one weekend.
There were some tight victories along the way, but both sides finished with unblemished records.
