CRICKET
Zach Williamson delivered a match-winning performance in his milestone 100th and last match for the Clifton 1st XI, steering his side to a comfortable six-wicket win over Glenwood at the Riverside Sports Club on Saturday. He was only the ninth Clifton player to earn 100 caps for the first team.
Competition was tight between the schools, with Clifton picking up four wins and Glenwood five.
The u15A match was particularly interesting. Glenwood bounded their way to 236/2 but were made to sweat for victory. They won in the end, but by only six runs.

BASKETBALL
Glenwood has been making strides on the basketball in recent seasons, but victories against KZN opposition had been hard to come by. On Saturday, though, the Green Machine‘s 1st team defeated Clifton, winning by eight points. That was a significant victory.
Overall, too, the day belonged to Glenwood, with Clifton claiming only two wins.

WATER POLO
While Glenwood enjoyed the edge on the basketball court, predictably, Clifton dominated in the pool. They won all six of their matches against Glenwood and added a first team win over St Charles to that record.
