Hilton 1st XI downs Michaelhouse on Zungu Field

Victory belonged to the home side when Hilton College faced Michaelhouse on Zungu Field in the meeting of the 1st footall teams on Saturday. They won emphatically, beating the visitors from Balgowan 3-0.

Hilton also won the U15A and U14A matches, but the overall results were eight wins to Hilton, five to Michaelhouse, and two draws, both of which ended 3-3. The difference was made in the U15 age group, with Hilton winning all four games, three of those by tight 2-1 margins.

Earlier in the week, Hilton’s U14s took on St Charles College. The results were interesting: while the U14As beat Michaelhouse, they lost to Saints. The U14B team drew with Michaelhouse but narrowly lost to St Charles. The U14Cs drew both games, and the U14D side won one and lost one.
