INDOOR HOCKEY
Westville Boys’ High and Northwood made their marks in the KZN Coastal Indoor Hockey Leagues, with Westville winning the U16A League and Northwood placing four teams in the semi-finals of the three age groups. For more on the final round of matches, please click this LINK.
FOOTBALL
Westville and Northwood also met on the football field, with a healthy 27 teams in action.
The competition between the schools was very even, with Westville claiming 15 wins, Northwood 10, and two matches ending in draws.
Westville’s 1st XI, the winner of the Big 10, added another win, repeating the 1-0 victory they scored over the Knights in the semi-finals of that tournament.

SEVENS
Westville Boys’ High’s run of Clover High School Sevens Series title was halted at their third attempt after they previously won the Glenwood Sevens and Pionier Sevens.
They were eliminated in the semifinals of the U17 section by the eventual champion, Durban High School (DHS), while Westville’s U15s bowed out at the hands of DHS, also in the semi-finals, with the Horseflies going on to win both sections.
Westville eliminated Northwood from the U17 Cup competition in the quarterfinals, while Maritzburg College claimed a tight 12-7 win over Northwood in the U15 Cup quarterfinals.
