RUGBY
The Green Machine played a lot of good rugby last weekend at Northwood, but they came away empty-handed after the Knights turned around a 0-11 deficit and scored late to win 19-11.
While the results haven’t been special, the Glenwood 1st XV has made strides in 2025 and, facing a Parktown outfit that had also enjoyed a much-improved campaign – which included a loss by only three points to KES – they showed what they’re capable of by overrunning the Johannesburg side by 53 points to 10 on Dixon’s, on Saturday.
The u16A, u15A, and u14A teams all won convincingly, too as Glenwood won 10 of the 11 matches, with Parktown’s u15D side stopping the Durban boys from making a clean sweep.

The locals also won three of the four u16 matches, including the A team game, and went two for three in the u14 age group, with Glenwood’s u14A side also triumphing.
